Our purpose:

To inform Africans and the African dispora on the essential meaning behind this piece of jewerly. Lately there has been an increased usage of the African waist beads without proper reasearch being done as to how to wear it correctly and the purpose it is supposed to serve. What is the African Waist Bead

The African waist bead is a piece of jewerly not worn around your actual waist, but around your hip area. The traditional ornaments are made up of clay but as of lately there has been waist beads made up of plastic.
