A middle schooler who's unfortunately in a wheelchair but has much potential and talent in comedic acts. Throughout the book he overcomes rumours about him and wins the great comedian competition and proves everyone wrong. Although he is paralyzed, Jamie wins the competition because of his hard work and not through pity.

Harry Potter

Harry and his 2 best friend Ron and Hermione go on a couple crazy adventures, throughout the books they mature and grow up and eventually through the exposition they get to the final battle between protagonist Harry and the antagonist who doesn't have a nose for some reason, Lord Voldemort

Percy Jackson

Percy Jackson and his bestfriends Grover and Annabeth go on adventures, they fight hydras, medusa herself and other enemies to save his mom from Hade's captivity.The book series consists of the group going after an even greater antagonist whom they call Kronos.

Overall, fantasy and adventures novels are the best type of books for middle schoolers with active imaginations.
