Wings of Fire is an amazing dragon book series that is full of awesome twists and funny moments that make you want to read more. Not only that but share it with your friends (I told one of my friends about it and she loves it so much I thought she was the one who told me about it)!
So far, there are 3 series of Wings of Fire. The first series is about five dragonets who grow up in a cave and have to fulfill a prophecy to find the new SandWing Queen (Which is a type of dragon.).
The second series is about the five dragonets from the series before, make a school in a mountain like where they grew up. The dragonets inside the school in the Jade Winglet are starting to wonder if Darkstalker is back, a horrible bad dragon who is an animus (animus' in Wings of Fire are technically wizards).
The third series is so far unfinished. There are four books in that series, normally they're are five books in each series. This one is about three new kinds of dragons that live on an unknown continent called "The Lost Conitenent". The three new dragons are: SilkWings, HiveWings, and LeafWings (Also known as PoisonWings). Apparently the HiveWing queen can controll her subjects' minds. And their not the only dragon who can be controlled. The three main characters are trying to find a cure and stop the HiveWings from being controlled.
The main character of the first book is named Clay. He is supposidly a monster. He tried to kill his friends in their egg when they were hatching. OR WAS HE???
Next, is Tsunami. She's a SeaWing dragonet who thinks she's the lost SeaWing princess. No one knows if this is true...except their guardians! She's super bossy and pretty much is leader of their friends if that was a thing.
Third is Glory. She's a RainWing. Her species doesn't fight in the war and are thought to be lazy and useless. They don't even have fire.
Fourth is Starflight! He's one of my favorite characters Besides Clay and Sunny (I will talk about Sunny in a second). NightWings are supposed to be able to read minds, but Starflight can't...NightWings also don't fight in the SandWing war.
Sunny is the fifth dragonet! She's a weird SandWing who doesn't have a tail barb, like most SandWings do, and is surprisingly small.
MudWings are one of my favorite dragons. Though they are called dumb, dull, and other insults, they can be kinda cute and protective of their friends, but all MudWings have different personalities. In the first series, they are allied with the SkyWings and Burn, one of the daughter of the SandWing queen. They are brown, pale yellow, orange, and dark, soggy colored greens.
NightWings are incredibly cool. They can read minds, sometimes read the future, AND! They have bright white dots on their wings that look like stars. They can also breath fire like most dragons. They are kind of mysterious dragons. They are pretty much just black.
SeaWings are one of the only dragons who don't breathe fire. They can be pretty fierce. These dragons are the most common dragons who have animus dragons in their tribe. They can be blue, green, or purple.
SandWings aren't the GREATEST dragons in the tribes. They are pale yellows, black, and browns. They have super dark eyes and have tail barbs that inject poisoness venom that could kill a dragon in a heartbeat depending on where they got hit.
SkyWings aren't the nicest dragons either. They tend to be quite rude and defensive. Not even defensive just plan old mean. They normally are orange, red, light brown, and a little bit of yellow every once and a while.
RainWings don't fight in the war like NightWings. They are known to be lazy and stupid, but they have bueatiful scales that can change color. They don't have any fire...but they do have a different kind of defense...RainWings can be any colors that come to mind.
IceWings are very included in the first series. But you get to see more of them in the second and third series. They don't have fire, but they have a deadly frost breath, that can kill you. They are white and blue.
This one's a little weird but sometimes it's interesting to know:
As you can see, I love this series so much. It's full of the greatest, most halarious moments on Earth (Okay! That's probably not true but it is for me...)!! I really hope you'll read it, fall in love with it, and become a natural fan. Please read!
