As you can see, THINK is an acronym, standing for True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, and Kind. The original poster says "Before you speak", but this alao applys to posting online. Before you post, THINK, Is it True, ... and go through all of them.

  3. Make sure you have permission to post

It's fun to post a silly photo of you and your friends hoanging out by the beach, but you neve know what the consequences are of such a photo. You may be comfortable with it, but make sure that friend is ok if a photo of them, or a story including them, is posted online.
  5. Don't place social media over you family

Don't be that person, who is always on their phone during dinner. Set a clear time limit, so you don't spend too much time, and always remember that your family should always be more important than social media.
  7. Follow those who give you joy

If you are following celebrities that post themselves on vacation, or in their expensive house, and you are tinking "Why can't I be that successful?", then you should probably unfollow them. Social media does not exist to cause you stress and depression, but to bring you joy, so follow those who bring you joy, and you will find that you will be happier.
  9. Don't be jealous of others lives

When you see a post, don't get uppset that you don't have such a perfect life. Seeing all those posts of peoples success can bring your mind away from that fact that people also see only your successes, and not your failure. When you see a post, be inspired, not envious.
  11. Take a break

Every once and a while, it can be healthy to put down your phone, and live life without the burden of having to like your friends posts, or having your friend like your posts. You will feel a lot more relaxed and happier.
