If you think Baseball is going to be a hard sport, I think this could change your mindset on Baseball. Baseball has been around for a long time and has been a great sport that has been played all around the world. There has been many well known people to play Baseball such as, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, the names could go on and on. But, to be sucessful and great like they were, your going to have to know the Basics of Baseball. I'm going to teach you the Basics of Baseball and that would include how to hit, how to catch a baseball, and how to field a baseball.
First, you're going to need a bat of some sort to hit a baseball. Next your going to need to be able to watch the baseball all the way through your swing and when you make your swing, you need it to be a level as possible so you don't pop the baseball up. As you are making your swing, your hands need to come through the zone before your bat does. That helps you get your bat speed up for the pitch coming in for a strike or a ball, but getting your hands out first helps a lot when a inside pitch is thrown. When you already have you hands out in front and your bat coming in the zone, your going to have to keep your head on the ball coming in the zone and then put the bat on the baseball. When you are making contact with the baseball keep both hands on the bat when your finishing through your swing so you won't let go and hit anyone with the bat. This is how you sucessfully make contact with a baseball for a good hit.
At first, before you even think of catching a baseball you are going to need a baseball glove. Then, when you have a baseball glove of some sort, try and get it broke in or have it broke in to give you a more chance to catch the baseball because you will have a nice,tight pocket to catch the baseball in. When you have the glove broke in, get someone to throw you a baseball and when the baseball is thrown watch it the whole time it is on its way to you. As the ball is coming towards you, your going to need to put the glove in the general direction of the where the baseball is coming too. When the baseball hits the glove or mitt you have, your going to need to squeeze or close the glove and put your throwing hand over it just in case the ball falls out the glove. This is how you sucessfull catch a baseball.
First, your going to need a baseball glove and it would be recommended for it to be broke in and ready to use. Now that you have a baseball glove, your going to have to know when to get down and put the glove on the ground for an incoming baseball. Before a baseball is hit or rolled to you, you need to be down in a ready position with your glove out. When the ball is coming toward you at a amount of speed, charge the ball and get your glove on the ground and have your throwing hand to the side ready to get the ball out and throw it. When the ball hits inside the glove squeeze it until you are about to transfer it into your throwing hand, which then you throw the ball at something or to someone. This is how to sucessfully field a baseball.
