The season rank track(AKA the Battle Pass) was initially a controversial change but I think overall it is a positive addition. There are two tracks: The Free Track and the Premium Track. Obviously, the Premium Track grants better rewards, such as large boxes of planetary materials, special weapon and armor ornaments, and other cosmetics.
