Hatashuria is a village in Bankura district. It is about 15 km from Durgapur.
This puja is about 300 years old. It was started on 11th october in 1771 by Shriman Panchanan Gupto{biswas}of BAIDYAGUPTO FAMILY.
It is said that goddess DURGA came in Panchanan Gupto's dream and said that she was in nearby goshai bagan bauri para but she cannot stay there due to the stingy smell of fish. Further Maa Durga ordered him to worship her in his house.
This is the durga mandir ,Popularly known as BORO CHONDIMALA, where Panchanan Gupto started worshipping maa durga.
