1. Serve

Server must serve from behind the end line. The ball must be served under-hand or over-hand. The ball has to make it over the net and inside the lines to count.

2. Rotation

Team will rotate everytime they win a serve. Players shall rotate in a clock-wise manner. There will be 6 players on each side.

3. Scoring

Rally scoring will be used. There will be a point scored on every score of the ball. Game will be played till 25 points. Offensive will score on a defense miss or hit out of bounds hit.

4. Playing the game

Maximum of three hits per side. No double hitting. Ball can be played off the net. A ball touching a boundary line is good. A player must not block or attack a serve.

5. Basic violations

Stepping on or over the line on a serve. Failure to serve the ball over the net successfully. Hitting the ball illegally. Touches of the net with any part of the body while ball is in play.

How to over-hand serve

Place your right foot slighty in front of your left foot. Put the volleyball in your left hand and lighty toss the ball in front of you. Get your right hand ready to hit it as it comes down.

How to spike

Stand 5 or 6 feet away from the net. Run to the net as the ball is approaching the top of its flight. Jump off the ground as high in the air as possible. Position your body as so its to the left of the ball. Bring your right arm behind your body with your palm open. Swing your arm foward as fast as you can so that it comes in contact with ball moving downward and away from the blocking players. Hit the ball with the ball of your hnad, down near where the base of your thumb meets your wrist.

How to bump

Make sure hips are facing your target (the direction you want to pass your ball to). Get to the spot, position yourself, create your platform, prepare for contact, get low, pass through the ball, and get reset in your position.

How to set

Be ready to move, get under the ball in time to recieve it in the proper position, have a plan, and pass the ball.
