Kalista

Hi! My names Kalista, but I prefer to be calle Irene. My main goal is to go to college and become a veterinarian. Meaning I need a Degree in Veterinary Medicine. Not to mention my degree level has to be at a DVM (Doctor of medicine), I need a licensure required in all states and experience in clinical practicum. college If this plan backfires, I plan on becoming a Mechanical Engineer. For that, I need a High school diploma or the equivalent postsecondary training, that is often preferred by the employer, a degree field in auto mechanics and on the job training. But my true passion is becoming a Music Educator, meaning I need a Bachelors Degree in Music Education, but I plan on getting a Masters Degree as some schools require Masters Degrees over Bachelor Degrees. Recently, Ive been taking up craft in photography. Ive only been using my phone but, its a start right? And everyone has to start somewhere. The majority of my photos include scenery. The sun has the best lighting there is and artificial lighting could never replace it. These kind of things are very important and might come in handy in the future. But, what would I know? I only take pictures from my driveway and porch as of now since I'm not allowed to leave my house. My family is slightly paranoid and where ever I am allowed to go has too many buildings to get the sun into the photo. For photography I need a Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts, specialized photography training, and I would have to work under a photographer for a while.

This year, I plan to finish school with straight A’s and join language arts and science programs over the summer along with marching band. So far, math is the main class I struggle in, other than that I'm good in all my classes.books I'm actually Gifted in language arts and I think I'm naturally good at science. Math is challenging because I find math confusing and boring. I just never sparked interest in math. I work really hard in Math class to try and understand what we're learning, but it doesn't work. Ive done extra work with math and it just never stuck in my brain. I sometimes even go ahead of the lesson to try and learn the next thing on my own and then my teacher can help me out after. I gain the most satisfaction in Language arts because I guess I know what I’m doing, so it's simple to catch on. Don’t get me wrong, getting a good grade in any class is satisfying, but Language Arts is just simple. I’m glad I’m gifted in language arts, but in the long run, I think science will be more helpful for what I want to do.

I haven’t done many community services but I’ve helped at my highschool’s football and basketball game concessions, and my whole school went to clean up Youngstown. I’m planning to attempt to get a job at city hall next year, and so far I don’t have any interest in sports. I mean, I guess volleyball is okay, but I don’t plan on playing it and going to tournaments and stuff. I don’t have any hobbies besides reading and gaming, but something I thoroughly enjoy is Music. Music has run through my family, especially percussion. My brother was a percussionist through his entire highschool year, and I'm sure there were others before that. So I’ve decided to carry that on through my high school career. I don’t have any awards besides 5 medals from cheer, 3 trophies from cheer, one medal from girls on the run, and a win in an essay contest from 4th grade. These all helped me improve my grades and focus on what I truly want to do.
