This story follows a young man named Charles. He was raised in a small village in the middle of a desert. He never met his parents, and was raised by the local bartender, Mathilda. He had a few friends in the village including Mathilda’s daughter, Charlotte. He has lived in the village for his entire life, and he thinks it's time for a change. Charles wants to leave his village, and find out what else is out there.
