To be a good player at this sport you will have to learn how to have good skating, good shooting, good positioning, good passing, and good IQ. Many people have gotten hurt playing this sport, so it is good to make sure that you have good gear and awareness. If you live in a northern state then you most likley have a local hockey team and a local ice hockey rink. If you live in a southern state then it might be difficult to find any hockey rinks or teams.
