How to Make Yorkshire Pudding
Yorkshire pudding is a delicious and versatile English pastry that can be eaten at any meal with sweet or savory food. Here's how to make it:
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 3/4 cup of flour
Steps:
- Mix all the ingredients together until well blended. Do not overmix.
- Let the batter refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or more if possible. Works very well if refrigerated overnight.
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Put a pat of butter in each cup of a muffin tin with 12 cups. Put the butter in the heated oven for a few minutes until the butter is bubbling.
- Take out the hot muffin tin and fill each cup about 1/2 way with the batter.
- Bake at 450 for about 5 minutes, then turn the heat down to 400. Take the puddings out once they are golden brown, about 5-10 more minutes. Do not open the oven until batter has risen.
