With a 6.2 liter V-8 engine the Escalade goes from 0-60mph in about 6 seconds. For a vehicle of its size it is fast. Compared to other SUVS, it is fast, but the ride quality isn't that great. The Escalade is a very heavy vehicle, and this is especially shown on sharp corners. Although body roll isn't an issue, the ride can sometimes be stiff.
