Getting Started

When starting photography, having inspiration plays a big role in helping to further advance in your skill and allows you to set goals for yourself. Look at your surroundings; anything and everything can be photographed beautifully, it all depends on your perspective. Use the app Pinterest to find some inspiration. You can also look at the work of other photographers as guidance.

I use the Canon EOS Rebel T5 to take many of my photos but any camera, including phone cameras could work.

My Goal

When taking photos, my goal is to capture moments in life. This could mean small, daily moments or significant, eventful ones. Nobody lives a life in which each day is momentous. Likewise, nobody lives a life where everyday is dull. My goal is to demonstrate the balance between these two categories, creating a blend of what makes up my very own life. My identity remains hidden behind a camera, meaning that you'll never truly get to know it. You don't need to know who I am to view these photographs, though. My subject(s) are the focus here. Their emotions; sadness, happiness, etc, are the reason why I take pictures. Emotions are what makes photos so special. Even pictures without people in it can demonstrate emotions. I take photographs of moments so that they will one day be memories.
