Quarter Horses

• The most popular breed in the United States
• The American Quarter Horse Association or AQHA is the largest breed registry in the world
• The AQHA has almost 3 million living American Quarter Horses registered
• The Quarter Horse breed is well known for being a race breed and a preformance breed in rodeos as well as a working ranch horse
• On average Quarter Horses live to be 25-35 years old all though some can live longer

• They have tight curly hair all over their bodies
• Curly Horses can be many different sizes and colors

Clydesdale Horses

• Their feet are as large as dinner plates
• An adult Cydesdale Horse eats 25-50 pounds of hay and 2-10 pounds of grain each day
• They usually weigh between 1600 and 2200 pounds
• They can pull between 2000 and 8000 pounds though some can pull more

• They are a naturally gaited breed of horses
