The most common types of cooking are dry heat, moist heat, and combination cooking. Dry heat cooking is cooking with an oven. Where whatever you're cooking is exposed to a high source of heat from below or above. This is what gives food it's brown color after it's done cooking. Moist heat cooking is when you boil, steam, poach, and simmer what ever you're cooking. It is a lot less intense then dry heat cooking. Combination cooking combines dry heat and moist heat cooking. Combination is often used when you make pot-roast, stew, or braising.

Exoctic foods

Trying exoctic foods can be kind of scary especilly if it's not what you're used to eating.Some types of exoctic foods are pufferfish, squid, octopus, and so much more. If you want to eat these things think about the precatutions before you do so. Pufferfish is extremly dangerous. To prepare it you have to be licensed. The pufferfish if not made properly can kill a person. Squid and octopus are dangerous if you eat them while they're still alive. In all be careful of what exoctic foods you eat.

History of cooking

Cooking started around 1.8-2.3 million years ago. Cooking pretty much started when fire was first made. Having fire allowed the early settlers to uncover the world of flavors. Thanks to them we are still learning new ways and how to cook. One of the things that had a huge impact was farming. Even though farming was diffuclut it still made an impact on how we live today.
