The classes that I am curently taking in this school year is Math, Humanities, Stem immersion, PBL, and science. I'm a very hardworking student.
Humanities
Humanities is one of my most challenging classes. But something that I enjoy doing in there is reading. One my of my favorite books is Butter. Another thing that I enjoy doing in there is are reading groups. I think this shows out each others thoughts on the book. We get to hear it from everyones own perspective. I also like it when on some days we get to write in a jorunal and write about whatever we want, or we go off of a rubric that she put up on the board that day.
Math
Math is my best class. I love math and I'm just really good at it. A system that my school uses is CPM where technically we work in groups and there is a different chapter each time we get a group. One of my favorite things I love to do in there is algebra. I love doing just algebra tiles, and algebra equations. I am currently mostly getting high mastery, which is the highest you could get. Another thing that I enjoy doing in there is figuring out figure 0, 1, 2 and 3, just with an expresion. So overall math is my favorite.
Stem Immersion
Stem immersion is technically a computer base learning class. One of my favorite things to do in this class is coding on code.org. I like learning the codes and also adding colors and deisgns to the pages. Another thing I like to do is onshape because I like creating things on a computer device, then using the 3D printer to see the final result 3D. One of my favorite onshape projects was making a key. Yes, we had to follow specific mesurements, but we got to make it look how we wanted it to.
PBL
Pbl is a class where you work together in groups, trying to discover or make up your own invention. We also sometimes add on or try to make something already invented better. One of my favorite projects that we did so far was creating my apache tribe playground. So technecially we had to make a playground on a piece of cardboard as a base, then add stuff that the Apache tribe enjoyed. Another project that I enjoyed in here was my spider trap. We made a spider trap on onshape. Then we printed it out on the 3D printer and started testing it out. We used it on a real spider. Another thing I liked about the spider trap was that we got to make a commerical on it.
Science
Science is challenging but easy at the same time for me. One of my favorite things that I did in here was my story on the earths core. We had to make a story from somebody starting at the top of the earth core, then going into the earths core. We had to put tempature problems, and stuff that they had to go through on this journey so you know the reactions of the earths core.
