Banana fish is a anime that has two main characters. There names are Ash and Eiji. Ash has a really bad past and he runs a gang. Eiji is a reporter from Japan.They are both around 20.There's a drug called bananafish and it makes people go crazy. Eiji is doing a report about Ash and they end up hanging out and become good friends. Eiji helps Ash but Ash doenst want eiji to get hurt so he doesnt want him to help. Some poeple say they are in love but i think they are just best friends. They do kiss in one scene but it wasn't meant to be romantic. The way i explained this it sounds boring but it isn't. It has a really good plot and I personally don't love the ending. If your looking for a anime that will make you cry this is perfect for you. It's also a pretty short anime. It has 24 episodes that are around 20 minutes long.
