Here’s a short summary of Blazewrath Games:
Lana has a dream: to be a dragon-rider for Puerto Rico in the World Cup. When she slams her greatest win, Lana is able to participate on her team, full of characters who both hate and adore her. However, something dim and dark is brewing from the shadows, and dragons are being controlled for selfish means. Lana has to deal with the troubles arising, while keeping her spot in her not-so-dream team.
Here's a short review of the novel:
I would agree with the description of the novel: a mixture of sports, dragons, and intrigue. The main character, Lana, was sturdy and steadfast ,making her easy to root for and adore. The other characters of the team all had discernable personalities that they wore like hearts on their sleeves. In other words, this team was interesting to read, and it made it all better when the conflict was introduced, allowing the reader to think of the complexities and the ideas the author put in for the plot. All in all, it was an engaging read that drove me to the peak of my excitement, never letting out until the very end.
