1.Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the river Yamuna in the indian city of Arga. It was commisioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife,Mumtaz Mahal;it also houses the tomb of shah Jahan himself.

2.The Great Wall Of China

The Great Wall Of China is an ancient wall of China.The wall is made of cement,rocks,bricks and dirt.It was finished in 1878 and it was meant to protect the north of the emperor of China from enemy attacks.It is the longest structure humans have ever built.It is about 21,196 kilometers(13,171 miles)long,9.1 meters(30feet)wide and 15 meters(50 feets)high.The earlier sections made os stone and dirt.Later in the ming dynasty they used bricks.There are 7000 watch towers,block houses for soldiers and beacon to send smoke signals.

3.Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca Citadel,located in the Eastern Corrdillera of southern Peru,on a 2,430-metre(7,970 ft)Mountain ridge.It is located in the Machupicchu district within Urubamba Province above the scared valley, which is 80 kilometers(50 miles)northwest of Cuzco.The Urubamba River flows past it, cutting through cordilla and creating a canyon wuth a tropical mountain climate.

4.Roman Colloseum

Originally the gladiator games were held mear the tomb of the man being honoured or on his property.As the events became more popular and attracted large crowds,they were held in town squares or at the Roman Forum.The first instance of a permanent arena consturted for the purpose of munera(gladiator games)occured in the first century B.C.Construction of the colloseum began in 74 A.D.The work included both the amphitheatre and the surrounding area.the structure was nt completed until 80 A.D.By that time,Vespasian had passed away(79 A.D)and his successor Titus was in power.

5.Christ The Redeemer statue

Christ the Redeemer is a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil.Constructed between 1922 and 1931, the statue is 30 metres(98ft) high, excluding its 8-metres (26 ft)pedestal.the arms stretch 28 meters (92 ft)wide.the statue weighs 685 metric tons(625 long and 700 short tons),and is located at the peak(2,300 ft high)Corcovado mountian IN THE Tijuca Forest national Park overlooking the city of Rio de Janeiro.

6.Petra

Petra is a famous archaological site in jordans southwestern desert.Dating to around 300 B.C.,it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom.Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq,it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstonr cliffs,earning its name the "Rose City".Perhaps its famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh,a temple with an ornate, greek-style facade,and known the treasury.

7.Chichen Itza

Chichen Itza is a complex of mayan ruins on Mexico's Yucatan's Peninsula.a massive step pyramid,known as El Castillo or temple of Kukulcan,dominates the ancient city, which thrived from around 600 A.D. to the 1200s.Graphics stone cravings survive at structures like the ball court,Temples of the warriors and the wall of the skulls.Nightly sound-and-light shows illuminate the buildings sophisticated geometry.
