I just planted the avocado I'm growing in soil. To sprout the avocado I put the pit into a plastic bag with a damp paper towel and waited like 2 weeks. The problem is that I forgot about it and it ended up being like 2 months that it was in the plastic bag. When I found it again it had a long root but no stem. So far after planting it in soil I don't see any growth but hopefully the roots are growing.
