Sergey Brin started out as an immigrant in America at six years old by the time he was an adult he landed on Forbes U.S. billionaires list.

Sergey Brin was 6 when he and his family immigrated to the United States to escape his home country due to religious persecution (Boslaugh, 2019)`

Sergey started to attend college classes as a young teen. He quit highschool to attend college full time. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1993 with a degree in mathematics.He then started to work on his graduate degree. This is when he met Larry Page (Boslaugh, 2019)

In order to understand Sergey Brin's imigration story, it important to consider his influence of his father, how this affect his love for computers and math, and how this love allowed him to be successful.

Ultimately, the drive, talent, and work of Immigrants like Sergay Brin have enhanced the overall success of the United States.

Sergay Brin journey to the United States created challenges but also opened oppurtunities for him to develop his talents. Having to travel over to the United States at a young age to avoid religious persecution made his life more difficult (Biograhy.com, 2021).

When he arrived he did not know anyone, he spent time learning computers.Some of the inventions that he came up with were successful and others were not.He had issues with some of his inventions becoming accepted. His first search engine he created called Backrub and Google Glass were some inventions he created that were not successful or got shut down before their true potential was seen (Boslaugh,2019).

Sergey Brin has had successes in the past and continues to be successful to this day. When his ideas were challegned he was able to turn a failure around.

When Brin first started to develop his computer programs and search engines. He started an early version of a search engine called Backrub. When this was being used at Stanford, although it worked well, they were shut down from using it because it was using to much bandwidth (Boslaugh, 2019). He did not let this stop him. It encouraged him to continue and make the procuct better. He went to Silicone Valley and eventually created Google (Boslaugh,2019). Google.com site is known for is ease of use. It was built in a simple way due to the inexperince of its founders. Sergey Brin and his partners kept it this way because of how effiencient it is (Boslaugh,2019).

Looking at some of the challenges he had with Google Glass is a great example of how a failure can turn into a success. Although his invention was not successful in the way he wanted it to be. Google Glass did end up serving an important purpose being used by the medical and military community (Boslaugh,2019).

From an early age Sergey Brin was introduced to computers and math due to his fathers influence. He develped a passion for for this which influence his choice to pursue computers as a career.

Through his talent with computers and his drive to continue to grow and make improvements with his work. His contributions have had positive impacts in the United States and across the globe in the realm of technology.

Anyone who uses a computer to pay a bill, shop, or look up information is probably familar with Google, But they may not realize the people behind what has become a part of their everyday life. The impacts that Sergay Brin has made with his creation of serch engines and other comuputer media has made a difference in the way people gather and communicate informaton.
