• Its core temperature is 6000 degrees celcius or 10,400 degrees fahrenheit
• It is the smallest planet
• It is revolves very fast - it takes only 88 earth days, but rotating its not too fast - it takes 176 earth days
• Nobody knows who discovered mercury
