Tools

Tools are one of the most important iten in Minecraft. They can help you mine blocks and attack enemy mobs.

Pickaxe

• Pickaxes are used to mine ores.
• Pickaxes should NOT blocks that fall when placed like sand or gravel. The only gravity block you should mine with a pickaxe is a anvil.

Sword

• Swords are used to attack enemy mobs and other players.
• Swords should NOT be used to mine blocks because that is not what they are meant to do.

Axe

• Axes are meant to mine trees to get logs
Axes are also a good weapon to use in combat with other players because the can disable your enemies shield for a couple seconds.

Shovel

• Shovels are used to mine gravity blocks except for anvils and some non gravity blocks (dirt).
Shovels are not used as a weapon in Minecraft like in horror movies.

Hoe

• Hoes are used for turning dirt into coarse dirt so you can plant seeds and other things you need to grow in Minecraft.
A hoe is also a big waste of materials.
