Alphas live a very interesting life in the wild. When first born, it takes 10-14 days for them to open their eyes and they live off of their mothers milk. When 3 weeks of age they start to eat meat and soon later they grow old enough to hunt with the rest of the pack.
Alphas can be found in many places like North America, Europe, Asia and North Africa. They prefer to live in areas like a tundra to woodlands, forests, grasslands and deserts. Alphas have thick fur coating that helps during the cold temperature. When they get too hot they panting to evaporate heat and moisture off their tongue.
It takes 4-5 weeks for alphas to reach adulthood. They are able to hunt and fully provide and hunt with the rest of the pack. Some leave the pack, some get kicked out, two or more wolves in the same pack may fight. Dominance is one of the traits of an alpha. They are trained killers and wont hesitate to kill their prey.
