There are a lot of things to know about fostering an animal here are just some facts that are good to know.

You will probably get attached
The dog will probably always have a traumatizing expirence
You will not have as much free time on your hands, or be spending all your free time with the dog
Every fostering place have different polices
And most of the time the dog will not be potty trained
