A Piece Of My Life

On the first page of my website, I mentioned that cooking has been a part of my life for a very long, almost 8 years. I wanted people to understand how much I enjoy cooking and how it has made an impact on my life. On this page of my website, I'll be sharing how I got into cooking and some of my favorite recipes!

How I Got Into Cooking

When I was very young, my dad was working in a resturant. He had worked there almost 15 years. Just with that statement alone you can probably imagine that he can cook! But anyways, when I was only 3, I had my first interest in cooking. Moving along in the years I had lost my grandma and grandpa, which broke my heart. I stopped cooking because it reminded me of all the times we would cook together, but, after a while, I started cooking again. And, cooking always made me happy after that point in my life.

My Favorite Recipe

Shrimp Alfredo

You need heavy whipping cream, shredded parmesean, shrimp, noodles(I prefer penne), and spices ( also like tomatoes in mine).

  1. In 1 pot, add hot water with a dash of salt. Turn on the stove to high.
  2. Take your shrimp(devein if needed) and put them in a pan with about a tablespoon of oil, turn on stove to medium.(cook the shrimp until 1 side is white. Flip, repeat and take off heat.)
  3. When your water has rolling bubbles, put in your noodles.
  4. While those cook, take a pot and add your heavy whipping cream and shredded parmesean, turn the stove onto medium low heat. Cook until the parmesean combines with the heavy whipping cream.
  5. After all that is done, combine your alfredo and shrimp into your pot and serve!
