Bald Eagles grow from hatchlings to be very large. Adult female bald eagles on avarage are 25% larger then adult males.
An adult male bald eagle's wingspan can range from 5 feet and 9 inches to 7ft and 7 inches! A female bald eagle however, is larger, and has a wingspan of 7ft-8ft on avarage when an adult!

Bald Eagles lay eggs in Febuary, and after that, those eggs are incubated by their parents for about 35 days before they hatch.
The parrents sit on the eggs for around 5 weeks. They make sure that the eggs are protected and safe from oher animals or birds that would want to take them, so they put them high up in a tree. The parents stay by the nest sitting on the eggs to keep them safe and warm.
