Overview | Setting Up The Board | Pawn | Knight | Bishop | Rook | Queen | King |

Knights are a chess piece located one tile to the left and right of the bottom corners. They are very situational because of their unique moveset.
Knights have a very unique moveset. They are the only piece that are not blocked by pieces in the way of their destination. From their current position, they can move anywhere in a L formation - two tiles in one direction and one tile to the side of the original direction. If the tile they will land on has an enemy piece on it, the enemy piece will be captured. The knight cannot move to a tile occupied by an ally piece.
Although the knigt's moveset may cause it to seem confusing or useless, it can be very powerful if used correctly. Since it cannot be blocked and its movement pattern is very different from any other piece, it can be put into a position in which it can pressure two pieces at the same time (called a fork), forcing your enemy to lose at least one of the two pieces. If this is done on high value pieces, it can be a very positive trade.
