    Stegosaurus

  • Stegosaurus was a herbivore which means it ate only plants.
  • They were herbivores becaus their teeth were too small to chew the flesh and their jaw was not flexible enough.
  • The plates on a stegosaurus were for absorbing heat from the sun to have more body heat at night.

    Triceratop

  • Triceratop means three-horned-face in Greek.
  • Some triceratops had as many as 800 teeth!
  • Scientists do not think this was a very fast dinosaur.
