A Guide for Someone new to Chess

The game of chess is a battlefield where two very bright minds battle it out to see who has the better strategy and who is smarter overall. Every move, every checkmate, and every single sacrifice a player makes is always satisfying, which makes the game fun to both play and watch. The game has existed for over 1,500 years, and ever since two minds have collided on this board, to see who can be the smartest amongst each other.

If you are completely new to the game of chess and want to discover how the game works, then this is one of the right places to be! This website will walk you through all of the basic rules of the game, important checkmate patterns and basic ways to checkmate with a few pieces on the board, some tips and some tactics that can gain you advantages, and places where you can play the game online.
