Finishing Touches

Materials

• Your Drawing
• Color Pencils
• Pen (or something similar)

Reminder: Make sure your color pencils are not dull from use, so sharpen them if needed.

1. Use the dark shading color and the original color for your charater and blend the colors so that it has a better flow. Also add a lighter version of the original color on the opposite side for a shining light effect.

Reminder: While adding these effects, keep in mind they make a small, but noticable difference in your drawing. But while it is a small difference, it gives the drawing a good bit of realism.

2. Use your pen to add boldness to the lines (again), if needed. Erase any stray marks from before, and add extra detail to hide mistakes (if any).
