Hungary is poor, extremely poor, and they have been for a very long time. It was no suprise that when They started there National team they needed help. They even needed to ask for money, because without it they couldn't get there team together. They first played in the 1912 summer olympics, where they lost 7-0 to england. Even though they suffered a loss, this was still a start.
Hungary's first notable win, was against France in 1927 Hungary played France In the game, the small country somehow pulled a 13-0 win, which still stands as a record in Hungarian soccer history. This led them to there breif time of succces. During 1910-1940, Hungary werent bad, for a team whose country was horribly poor, they were actually producing good results, and even got to the 1938 world cup final against Italy, although they lost the game, they put up a fight, they were even able to hold the Italians to a 2 goal lead, ending the game 4-2. Hungary has a good team, and things were going well, but in the 1950's things looked very good. Ferenc Puskas a Hungarian Legend joined the team. He was amazing. He led a strong attack, and had an extremely accurate and powerful shot. Leading them to the 1952, which they unfortunately lost. Although with Puskas, they were still able to win euros, and even get gold In olympics.
