About Me

My name is Trent, I’m a 15-year-old male currently living in Farmington, New Mexico. It has been a roller coaster of emotions and there have been many twists and turn up to this point in my life. I’ve lived many places and moved too many times to count. Around the time I was eleven I moved to Tucson, Arizona. I lived there for around a year and got really into guitar and video games. While I lived there I made many friends and made even more memories with my family members. During the summer I moved to Iowa, which was a really big move at the time and was something I wasn’t really ready for. The trip to Des Moines was long but was worth it when we got there in the end. We only lived there for a couple months and shortly found out we didn’t like living there. We moved back to Farmington for a short amount of time before we went back to Iowa and decided to try a different city. We moved to a small town named Tiffin which was just outside of Iowa City.

In Iowa is where most of my favorite memories were made, the good ones anyway. During my time in Tiffin, I decided to try other instruments, I learned to play the piano and ukulele. After about a year of living there, certain circumstances caused us to leave and return to New Mexico. The next year I was to stay with my dad and begin schooling in Farmington. After that year went by I left to live with my mother once again in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was enrolled into a small downtown school and found out I didn’t like it. I was taken out of the school and moved to Tohatchi, New Mexico. In Tohatchi I lived with my grandmother. I remember liking Tohatchi due to its people and isolation. I finished middle school in Tohatchi and moved back with my dad in Farmington. I started high school at Farmington High School and finished my freshman year there. The year after, I wanted to go to a different school, so I chose to come to Navajo Preparatory School. This year has been harder than ever with the pandemic and at home schooling, many more issues have also come up this year. I hope that in my time here I will learn to be more responsible and active. Although my time here has been short it has been fun so far. I just hope moving again will not be necessary and I can finally stay in one place to finish high school.
