How is water sanitized? Water as we all know is a basic necessary thing for most life on the planet to function in daily, monthly, yearly life span, it is a basic thing we all know and might as well take for granted at times. Water being such a source that we live off of and have to drink so often it is such a thing we all easily look over on a daily basis for those of us who have access to such drinkable water source that we are so easily available compared to many communities of people countless countries even don’t have easy access too. Of course, when you think about how water is purified and sanitized you think of boiling water to kill all the bacteria, viruses, and protozoa in order for water to be in a way clean, of course if the water is cloudy you would filter it with a clean cloth or things that are able to filter water such as coffee filters and certain water towels. Of course, that is the simple way of how water is simply sanitized through just boiling it but in others way to disinfect it would be to add a chlorine solution to the water to say like 16oz. of it to every 12.5 gallons of water this would easily be called Chlorination. Another way of sanitizing or just purifying the water is to have it distilled, Distillation is when you boil the point of the water where it turns into a vapor and having that vapor trapped then it travelling to another container it turning back into a liquid, it was boiled of its disinfected and it is believed that from it leaving the container it was originally boiled out of the compounds it had was left behind in the process yet while as a vapor it absorbs carbon dioxide in the air making it somewhat acidic. One last way it can be sanitized was slightly mentioned before as filtering which is Filtration a process which is very effective on purifying water which involves having multi filters or multimedia filters which is just different types of filters used to get rid of the water’s compounds. So with many ways and different ways of just water sanitization there is the question of why do certain people, communities or countries have this issue with cleaning the water they have, to put it simply they lack necessary items or tools to just do so which is unfortune for the people who suffer with this problem.
