Christmas Meaning

Why Is Chirstmas Important

Christmas is important because it is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of God who came to redeem all mankind and call them to himself. On that day, God sent his Son to become a man on earth in order that one day he would become the payment for the sins of the world, past, present, and future.

The Point of Christmas

Christmas is a day of remembrance. A day to commemorate the gift of God’s Son, who walked on this earth knowing what was ahead of him, yet he persevered. Don’t ever allow yourself to lose sight of that.Talk about the Christmas story with your family and friends. Go to church and be with the body of Christ. Meditate on the account of his birth, and pray to God, thanking him for his sacrifice.

What percent of people celebrate Christmas

While there is no definitive answer to this question, a 2008 Pew Research Center study found that 83% of Americans celebrate Christmas. This number likely includes both Christians and non-Christians, as Christmas is not only a religious holiday but also has secular aspects. Other studies have found slightly different numbers, but it is generally agreed that a majority of people celebrate Christmas in some way. For example, a YouGov study from the UK found that 67% of people celebrate Christmas, while a study from Germany found that 83% of people celebrate Christmas.
