Obsessive Complusive Disorder (OCD)

What is OCD?

OCD is when someone has excessive thoughts (obsession) that lead to repeated behaviors or actions (compulsions).

Facts about OCD

~Unlike the stereotype of needing everything to be perfect, OCD works in a way that has a person want something to be repeated in the same way. For example, someone could be "obsessive" with the number three, in result, they'd have the urges to have everything in groups of three.

~Aside from just physical compulsions, OCD can be mental as well, surrounding reptitive thoughts.

~Has to be medically diagnosed.
