You decide to bring up the cheque
“Your honor, If you see, there was a large cheque that was supposed to be for a Barrad Jack Flong, but simply never went through. When I had talked to the teller working at the time of the robbery, it became clear to me that this cheque was clearly meant to be a distraction, never meant to actually go through, just take the teller's eyes off of the things happening in front of them.”
The jury looks around, confused about what they just heard. You cut your losses and move on with the case.
You decide to bring up the digital breach
“Your honor, if I may stretch a bit…”
and suddenly, for some reason you tune yourself out. It's not long to you hear even yourself saying,
“why did I bring this up again?” Your eyes widen as you realize the mistake you made. You glance up and see Jackson, try to hold back a laugh!
This was a potentially fatal mistake.
