I make games!!!

This year I learned how to code and do many things that i didn't know how to do before like Cat Double Jump,Daleks Game,Rainbow lines,Fruit slicer. Thank you Al Sweigart for teaching us how to program.

Cat Double Jump

This is the first game program we did , this is what we learned how to do:

• Keypresses
• Gravity
• Jumping
• Wraparound
• Sound and music
• Change Background
• Double jumping

We also learned how to change our sprite and the coordinate system in Scratch. We also used variables like x and y in our programing.

The Daleks game

This is the second game we made, the games name is The Daleks. We learned how to do the following things:

• We made the cat sprite teleport to random places in the game.
• We made a shield for the cat if the cat could not escape the bats and for the cat to kill the bats

Rainbow lines

This is the third project that we made and it is called Rainbow Lines. This project was very easy to make. We learn how to the following things:

• We coded a pen, so it can make the lines
• We changed the background
• We added color

Asteroids

This is the fourth game that we did and it is called Asteroids. This is a game that you try to get away from the asteroids and you try to shot them. The following things are a few things that we learned:

• Wraparound
• Change background
• Double the asteroid when you shot it
• Velocity
• We coded clones
• Broadcast and receive messages
• Rotation

Fruit Slicer

This is the last program we made and it is called Fruit Slicer. The point of the fruit slicer is that you have to hover over or slice the begin button, then you have to slice the fruit but you can't slice the cake. If you slice the cake you die, if any of the fruit goes down you lose a health. The following things are some things that we learned:

• We learned how to add sprites
• We learned how to make the background gradient
• We learned how to make a begin button
• We learned how to make a slicer
• We learned how to make a game over screen
• List
• High score

I learned a lot of coding and programing games. I hope you enjoyed playing my games!
