About My Business

To start off, my name is Julian and I am a 12 year old entrepreneur. At the age of 7 I started joining school art clubs. Then, for my 10th birthday I went to a pottery shop and created some pottery. I went to an art related summer camp where we made creations such as painting, making sculptures, putting together movies, and creating props for theatre preformers. At this moment I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Last year for christmas, my parents helped me start my own business. There are so many possibilities for business that I couldn't choose. I made my business name "C&C by Julian" (crafts and creations by Julian). This allows me to make many things to sell to my customers.

Selling Soap

When I first started my business, the product I first started with was soap. I saw that quite a lot of soap businesses and hygene businesses were trending. That is why I started selling soap. If youre interested in making and/or selling soap at home here are the ingredients: softly colored red, orange, and yellow, circle shaped soap bars

  1. 20 oz. coconut oil.
  2. 10 oz. olive oil.
  3. 9 oz. distilled water.
  4. 4.78 oz. 100 percent pure lye.
  5. essential oils.
  6. colorants (optional)
  7. dried herbs or flowers (optional)

Selling Coasters and Bookmarks

My second and most recent interest is making resin coasters and bookmarks. This is fun but makes a big mess and requires concentration. In order to this you will need to buy:

gold-lined sparkling curcle shaped drink coasters
  1. 2-part epoxy resin (resin and hardener)
  2. Silicone coaster molds.
  3. Disposable cups.
  4. Stir sticks.
  5. Disposable gloves.
  6. Mica powder or alcohol ink.

This part of my business has been an experience I think I tried and will never try again. If you're someone looking in spending the least amount of money posibble I think you should probably stick to the soap idea or an idea you think would fit you best.
