This year we learned how to code programs in Scratch. We made a Cat Double Jump, a Dalek's Game, a Rainbow Lines program, an Asteroids program, and a Fruit Slicer program. Thanks to Al Sweigart for teaching how to program!
The Cat Double Jump was our first game that we programmed. We learned how to program:
We learned the coordinate system in Scratch while programming the Cat Double Jump. We also learned how to create variables and how to use them in our code.
The second game we programmed was called Dalek's game. In this program we learned how to code:
This was the next game we programmed. We learned how to program:
This was probably the shortest game we programmed. It was really easy and produced a beautiful program
After the rainbow lines program, we made the Asteroids program. It is a game where you try to destroy the asteroids while trying to avoid getting hit by them.
Fruit Slicer was the last and my favorite game we programmed. It is a game where you have to slice the fruit and not the cake. This was the most fun for me because we got design our own title screen.
I learned a lot programming in Scratch! I hope you enjoyed playing the games I programmed!
