Bats are so intersting!

Here are some facts about bats!

  1. Bats hibernate. During hibernation, they can survive being incased in ice!
  2. A single brown bat can catch around 1,200 mosquito-size insects in one hour! WOW!
  3. Bats make up a quarter of all mammals. There are over 1,100 types of bats.
  4. Bats are immune to many diseases.
  5. Bats adapt to new enviroments easily and can live on every continent (with the exception of Antartica, of course!)
