LUCK: COINCIDENCE OR REAL
Luck is a strange phenomenon. It can occur almost anywhere in different scenarios.
Like with the lottery, a claw machine, or even just finding a simple penny on the ground. People will say that they were lucky when something good happens to them, but is luck really a factor you can base on?

Probability
Though there are many factors that come into play, a big one is probability. Probability is how likely something is to happen. Take a claw machine for example. They are probably some of the most luck based games in the world. They never grab anything. When someone does manage to grab it, they think they got lucky, and they couldve. But most machines like these have a probability. AKA after an amount of turns played without winning, the game will automatically make the claw stronger for the next round, letting people win.

Unknown Universal Force
Even though that probability is a big thing for most of these luck based games, there is a strange power that comes from most luck charms. People have different signs of luck, such as a horseshoe, four leaf clover, or even a lucky cat. There is no way to explain how these charms can give people luck, but it is believed that when they put their trust into these charms, they are more likely to achieve their goal. They have faith in something, and that makes them believe themselves that they will do better, even if the charm does nothing at all.

There might not be an explanation for how luck works, where it comes from or how it happens. It's just a thing people have accepted and bring into their lives. But atleast next time we try a claw machine, we can believe we're lucky.
