Different schooling options:

There are a couple of different routes to go depending on what you want to do.

1. Getting a degree in ^{Early Childhood Education}

- With this option, you can teach Elementary School.

2. Getting a degree in a specific subject (ex:English) then taking a test to get _certified to teach

- With this option, you would be qualified to teach English at a Middle or High School.

3. Getting a degree in a specific subject (ex:History) then getting a Master's Degree in Teaching

- This option allows you to still have a specific background but also get a teaching education. That way, you have a background in the specific subject you teach and a background in teaching.

No matter the route you take to get there, you are going to need at least a 4 year degree + a teaching certification.

The salary for this profession is going to depend on the state you are in.
