Service learning project!

My favorite part of the service-learning project is that we get to team up with an awesome program and share cool stuff with them. This time, we joined forces with Camp by the Bay and taught kids how to code! The best part? The kids were between 6 and 12 years old, so it was like hosting a super fun coding camp for them the kids got it very fast. Watching their faces light up as they learned new tricks was just the best!

So, my part in the service learning project was super cool because I got to be on the design team! 🎨✨ My main job was to help create the slideshow that we used for our presentations. I was totally pumped about this because I love working on creative stuff and making things look awesome. I got to pick out the colors, choose fun fonts, and add in all the pictures and cool animations. It was like being in charge of making our project look as amazing as possible and making sure it caught everyone’s eye. It was so much fun putting it all together and seeing how all the pieces came together to make something really neat for everyone to see!

The whole experience was seriously awesome! 😊 I had a blast not only because I got to learn so much about myself, but also because there was free food—like, who doesn’t love free food, right? 😋 It was amazing getting to try new things and figure out what I’m really into. Plus, having those mentor meetings was super cool. It was great to talk with people who were really supportive and gave me some awesome advice. Overall, it was such a fun and eye-opening experience, and I really enjoyed every part of it!
