A fun fact about Harvard University is that it's America's oldest college (1636!), in Cambridge, MA, named for benefactor John Harvard, with a motto "Veritas" (Truth), known for big libraries, famous alumni (presidents!), and being a top Ivy League school with a crimson mascot. As a matter of fact It's the first and oldest institution of higher learning in the country. This is also Home to thousands of faculty and staff, with a diverse student body. It is sertantly knowed for being the oldest U.S. college (1636), its massive library system holding rare texts like a Gutenberg Bible, the quirky "Harvard Time" (classes start 7 mins late), its need-blind admissions for all, and the unique tradition of touching the statue of John Harvard for luck.
