Peglin doesn't have any lore :(
This game you play as a little goblin. You attack with balls that you drop down a pachinko machine. Each time you hit a peg it gets removed. When you run out of balls it is the enemys turn. The enemys will either get close to you to attack you, throw stuff at you or just attack you if they are close enough. Once you end your enemy, you get some goins that you can spend in the post battle shop.
In the post battle shop you can get new balls with different abilitys, heal or upgrade a ball.
After you finish a battle you can pick where to go to next. You can go mulitble routes and there are six differnt area's you can go to. There is the tressure room where you can get a powerup. There is the random room where anything can happen. There is the shop where you can spend goin you get along the way. There is the regualar battle room where you battle a couple enemys and the hard battle room where you can fight a strong enemy, there is also the boss room where you fight the boss.
After you fight the boss, much is the same.
