Flexibility is important right now. We will have up to date information ahead of departure. Right now, covid is not hampering travel, but this could change.
Plan on:
Having your vaccination/ booster card with 3 or more vaccines/boosters OR having a negative Covid test within 72 hours of departure.
Pre departure testing: Currently not required if you are fully vaccinated. Suggested that everyone administer a self test ahead of departure.
Return testing to re enter USA
Currently not needed
EF will coordinate this if rules change
Covid/Covid symptoms while in Japan
If you have symptoms on tour, EF will corrdinate and pay for testing
If you test positive on tour, EF will cover the cost of hotels and meals
If you test positive on tour, EF will provide flights for a parent or guardian to join a minor in isolation
If you test positive on tour, EF will rebook flights/coordinate transportation
