Ingredients
1 cup of softened butter
1 cup of white and brown sugar
2 eggs (of any kind)
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of hot water
3 cups of flour (all purpose is highly recommended)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of chocolate chips
(Optional) 1 cup of any nuts of your choice
Recipe Directions
Preheat your oven at 350 degrees F
Take a bowl and a mixer and insert your butter and sugar together until the texture becomes creamy.
Add in your eggs (please do it one at a time) and beat them with your mixture.
Add in your extract and mix it in.
Add together your baking soda, salt, and flour to mix.
Lastly, take a spatula and add in your chocolate chips and nuts (if desired) and stir it into the mixture.
Take a baking pan and add either non-stick butter or a non-stick foil unto it.
Take a scooper and make little scoops to add unto your pan. (It all depends on the size of the pan for how much cookies you want to make.)
Bake your cookies for approximately 10 minutes or until you see the edges are brown.
And that's how you bake chocolate chip cookies!
