One of the most popular ways to train a dog is with treats. Dogs will do tricks and obey you if they get a reward (treats). One way to teach your dog to obey you or do tricks such as sit,shake,fallow,play dead,stay, and wait, all of these tricks/comands your dog will do just for a treat. after your dog gets a treat for doing a trick or comand the dog will think,when i do this i get a treat!
Dogs love their toys. They will do anything for their toys, even tricks. So when you go to play fetch just make your dog sit and shake really quick then go have fun. dogs love toys expesally the squeaky toys.
Say your dog got a TV remote, and you cant catch him because he's to fast so what you do is you use toys. Make your dog notice the toy, if its a squeaky toy squeak it, after your dog noticed the toy throw the toy generally near him or if its a toy with cotton in it throw it at his body or tail. Once you do this you have a small window to grab the TV remote while you dog is distracted.
